About the Curious Crone – that’s me!

Hi, I’m Dani. I’m a storyteller, a mom, an explorer, a maker, and a dilettante, among other things. I spent 20 years parenting out loud and in the public eye through my blog, Postcards from the Mothership, and Curious Crone is my vehicle to explore and share what comes next.
My whole life, I’ve been chasing the questions “I wonder…” and “what happens if I…” Now, I’m letting my curiosity lead me on new adventures. As I researched things that piqued my curiosity (from knitting to spinning to felting to wrapping rocks and a tonne of other crafting adventures) I realized that many people need encouragement and permission to explore and experiment with creativity. That’s what I’m offering with my crafting workshops – permission to play and have fun, plus a few supplies and some guidance on how to get started, so you can kindle your own spark of curiosity.
My curiosity also led me to a quirky niche as a professional tarot reader for events and parties. In exploring tarot, I realized that it is in essence telling stories – something I’ve been doing through my blog, my photography and even through crafting for many years.
